Water Treatment Chemicals

Polyelectrolyte Polymers

Approx Price: Rs 165 / Kilogram
Our clients can avail from us best quality Polyelectrolyte Polymers which are popularly known as Poly Salts. Polyelectrolytes are the polymers whose repeating units contain an electrolyte group. These groups dissociate in water and other aqueous solutions making the polymers charged. Polyelectrolyte properties are thus similar to both electrolytes (salts) and polymers (high molecular weight compounds). The solutions of Polyelectrolyte are electrically conductive like salts and sometimes viscous like polymers. These can be availed by our clients at market leading prices in all over the world.

Uses:

  • Used as a coagulant aid in primary clarification and in Industrial Effluent Treatment
  • Used in sugar juice clarification
  • Used in sludge dewatering in Sewage Treatment and Water Treatment Plants

NOTE: We deals only in NORTH, EAST and West India.
We do not deal in South India

Ferric Chloride (Iron (III) Chloride)

Approx Price: Rs 35 / Kilogram
Iron (III) chloride, also called ferric chloride, is an industrial scale commodity chemical, with the formula FeCl3. The colour of iron (III) chloride crystals depends on the viewing angle: By reflected light the crystals appear dark green, but by transmitted light they appear purple-red. Anhydrous iron (III) chloride is deliquescent, forming hydrated hydrogen chloride mists in moist air. It is rarely observed in its natural form, mineral molysite, known mainly from some fumaroles.

Uses:
  • In industrial application, iron(III) chloride is used in sewage treatment and drinking water production.
  • In the laboratory iron(III) chloride is commonly employed as a Lewis acid for catalyzing reactions such as chlorination of aromatic compounds and Friedel-Crafts reaction of aromatics.
  • Used in anhydrous form as a drying reagent in certain reactions.

Ferrous Sulphate

Approx Price: Rs 7 / Kilogram
Ferrous sulfate is the chemical compound  with the formula FeSO4. It is used medically to treat iron deficiency, and also for industrial applications. Known since ancient times as copperas and as green vitriol, the blue-green heptahydrate is the most common form of this material.

Uses:
  • Industrially, ferrous sulfate is mainly used as a precursor to other iron compounds. It is areducing agent, mostly for the reduction of chromate in cement.
  • Ferrous sulfate was used in the manufacture of inks, most notably iron gall ink, which was used from the Middle Ages until the end of the eighteenth century.

Liquid Chlorine

Approx Price: Rs 6 / Kilogram
Chlorine is a chemical element with symbol Cl and atomic number 17. Chlorine is in the halogen and is the second lightest halogen after fluorine. The element is a yellow-green gas under standard conditions, where it forms diatomic molecules. It has the highest electron affinity and the third highest electro negativity of all the reactive elements, for this reason, chlorine is a strong oxidizing agent. Free chlorine is rare on Earth, and is usually a result of direct or indirect oxidation by oxygen.

Uses:
  • In the production of PVC (a versatile plastic) by chlorination of ethylene
  • Pesticides and insecticides such as BHC and DDT
  • Solvents such as TCE, Chloromethane, Chlorobenzenes and Chlorotoluenes
  • Chlorofluorocarbons used in refrigeration and fire-fighting
  • Mono Chloro Acetic Acid (MCA), needed to make CMC used in textile processing
  • Hydrochloric acid, Chloro Sulphonic Acid, Metallic Chlorides & other chlorine based chemicals
  • Chlorinated paraffin wax, a plasticizer & chlorinated rubber paints
  • Drugs and pharmaceuticals
  • Bleaching of pulp and cotton textiles
  • Disinfection and water treatment

Sodium Hypochlorite

Approx Price: Rs 15 / Kilogram

We have in store for our clients a wide array of Sodium Hypochlorite. Sodium Hypochlorite is a chemical compound with the formula NaClO. These are finding applications in varied segments owing to their antiseptic and disinfecting properties. In domestic activities it is used for removing stains from fabrics and it is also used for water purification.

Specifications:

  • Grade Standard: Food Grade
  • Color: Yellow
  • Size: 5-40 Mesh

Bleaching Powder

Approx Price: Rs 11 / Kilogram
We offer high quality Bleaching Powder to our valuable customers. Available with us at highly affordable market prices, these powders are widely used for the disinfection of drinking water or swimming pool water. The quality controllers keep strict supervision over the entire manufacturing processes to ensure that these processes are carried in conformity to international quality standards. Available with us is a range of Bleaching Powder. These are formulated by reacting calcium hydroxide solids with chlorine gas at our vendor's premises. Bleaching Powder is basically a mixture of calcium hydrochloride Ca(ClO)2 and the basic chloride CaCl2, Ca(OH)2, H2O with some slaked lime, Ca(OH)2.

Uses:
  • Oxidizing bleach works by breaking the chemical bonds that make up the chromophore.
  • This changes the molecule into a different substance that either does not contain a chromophore, or contains a chromophore that does not absorb visible light.
  • A reducing bleach works by converting double bonds in the chromophore into single bonds.
  • This eliminates the ability of the chromophore to absorb visible light.
